Warehouse Assistant.

McRuss is seeking friendly and reliable Warehouse Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate must be organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that products are registered and packed correctly for shipping or storage. They will be responsible for receiving products and checking that they are in good condition. You will also be expected to interact with customers, assist with product organization, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer customer inquiries, provide information about store promotions, and resolve any issues or concerns
• Restock shelves, organize products, and assist with inventory control
• Bag items efficiently, ensuring product protection and proper bagging techniques
• Assist in the store’s overall maintenance by helping with cleaning tasks, such as mopping, dusting, and organizing aisles
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations throughout the store
• Ensure that the store is compliant with safety and health standards
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors

Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high customer volumes
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to lift and move items 40 lbs or heavier
• Basic knowledge of grocery store products and services is preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying items 40 lbs. or heavier
• Comfortable working in coolers or freezers as needed
• Ability to move quickly and safely in a busy retail environment
