Job Description
Mango Group Limited is seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Tiler Helper to assist professional tile installers on residential and commercial construction projects throughout Grand Cayman.

The successful candidate must have practical experience supporting professional tile installation work, including surface preparation, material handling, mixing adhesives and grout, measuring and cutting tiles, assisting with installation, and finishing, and maintaining tools, equipment, and safe working areas.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist skilled tilers with the installation of ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and other surfaces.
• Prepare work areas and substrates for tile installation, including cleaning, removing debris, and assisting with surface leveling and preparation.
• Prepare and mix tile adhesives, thin-set mortar, grout, and other installation materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Load, unload, lift, transport, and organize tiles, tools, equipment, and construction materials.
• Assist with measuring, marking, and cutting tiles using manual and powered tile-cutting equipment under supervision.
• Assist skilled tilers with tile positioning, spacing, leveling, grouting, cleaning, and finishing work.
• Assist with the installation of tile trims, spacers, leveling systems, and other installation accessories.
• Protect adjacent surfaces, fixtures, and completed finishes during tile installation activities.
• Clean, inspect, maintain, and properly store tile installation tools and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working areas and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tilers to support efficient and high-quality installation work.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum 3–4 years of practical experience working as a Tiler Helper or in a similar position directly supporting professional tile installation work.
• Demonstrated experience assisting with ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile installations.
• Working knowledge of tile installation materials, including adhesives, mortar, grout, trims, spacers, and leveling systems.
• Practical experience preparing installation surfaces and mixing tile adhesives, mortar, and grout.
• Experience assisting with tile measuring, marking, cutting, installation, grouting, and finishing.
• Familiarity with the safe handling and operation of basic hand tools, power tools, and tile-cutting equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work, including repetitive lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately, work effectively with skilled tradespeople, and maintain established workmanship standards.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Minimum of some high school education required.
• Valid and current police clearance certificate required.
