Key Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by leveling, waterproofing, and applying screeds or backer board
- Measure, cut, and install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on floors, walls, and showers
- Apply grout, sealants and trims, and finish to a clean, professional standard
- Measure, cut, and install doors, frames, cabinetry, skirting, trim, and other woodwork
- Construct and repair wooden structures and fixtures
Estimate materials and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow site safety procedures and Cayman Islands building codes
Requirements:
- Over 5 years’ experience as a Tiler and/or Carpenter
- Primary School education
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely, including tile saws and grinders
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Health & Physical and Police Clearance required
