Tile Installer.

Position Summary
The Tile Installer will be responsible for the professional installation of ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile and veneer on floors, walls, bathrooms, pavements, kitchens, patios, decks, pools, and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and capable of producing high-quality work that meets the expectations of Cayman’s premium construction market.
Key Responsibilities
• Measure and plan tile layouts to ensure accuracy and symmetry
• Prepare surfaces including leveling, waterproofing, and underlayment installation
• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, limestone, local saw cut veneer and mosaic tile
• Cut and shape tiles using professional tile cutting tools
• Install tile on floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, stairs, and outdoor areas
• Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials
• Install trim pieces and tile edge profiles
• Ensure proper drainage slopes for showers, balconies, and wet areas
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Work with contractors, project managers, and other trades on construction sites
Required Experience
• Minimum 15 years professional tile installation experience
• Experience with porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone
• Ability to install large-format tiles and mosaics
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and waterproofing
• Ability to read construction drawings and tile layouts
• Experience working on residential or commercial construction sites

Physical Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of waterproofing systems such as Schluter or similar systems
• Experience installing large format tiles or slabs
• Valid driver’s license
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and skill level starting KYD 950.00
