Store Clerk.

Kirk Home Centre is inviting applications for the Store Clerk position. Applicants must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, perform basic math and must be computer literate in order to operate modern computerized equipment. Must be able to follow instructions and work independently with minimum supervision. Must provide excellent customer service and be willing to learn to operate a cash register and small electric lift or forklift. Must assist with inventory counts and stock level recommendations when required. Must be in good physical condition and able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and be able to stand for extended periods of time. Saturday work is required and good time keeping is essential. Must maintain a knowledge of products sold in the store and assist in handling and resolving routine customer issues. A current police record must be submitted.

Wage range for this position is CI$ 8.75 to $ 11.00 per hour depending on experience, plus the possibility for discretionary performance bonus. Benefits include a company-sponsored pension plan (matched 100% up to 5% of compensation), health insurance plan, two weeks paid vacation, and paid leave for birthdays.
