The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the kitchen, equipment, and service areas. This position plays a key supporting role in ensuring that all back-of-house operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and local health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage areas.

Wash, clean, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
Ensure that all cleaning duties are performed in accordance with established hygiene and safety standards.
Handle waste disposal, recycling, and garbage removal in compliance with environmental and health regulations.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, chemicals, and dishwashing materials as needed.
Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper maintenance and care of all cleaning equipment.
Support the culinary team by ensuring equipment and workstations are clean, organized, and ready for use.
Adhere strictly to company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations at all times.
Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Employer or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role within a hospitality or food service environment is preferred.
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting when required.
