The successful applicant will be required to perform duties including, but not limited to, laying bricks and blocks; plastering drywall and rendering concrete walls; interpreting and following blueprints and building plans to meet the requirements of the contractor; preparing surfaces prior to commencing work; and fabricating, altering, repairing, and maintaining walls, sidewalks, and street curbs.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for building and installing iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials used in the construction of buildings and other structures; cutting, positioning, and bolting steel bars to reinforce concrete; and performing other duties as deemed necessary by the contractor.
