Specialist, Virtual Guarding & Robotics.

Position Summary
The Specialist, Virtual Guarding & Robotics leads the Virtual Guarding & Robotics sub-division within Guarding Services, alongside Contract Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services. The role is responsible for developing Virtual Guarding as a higher-margin, recurring-revenue stream layered alongside existing guarding, not as a manpower reduction, and for developing drone, robotics and autonomous-maritime capabilities as force multipliers for the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, HM Customs, coast-guard operations and other Cayman public-safety agencies. The role also provides company-wide Research & Development and technical support.
Reporting & Relationships
• Direct reports: Initially none. A small delivery team may be built as the sub-division scales.
• Internal: Guarding operations managers, the Director of Operations, and divisional leads in Cybersecurity, Integrated Security Systems and Cash Solutions.
• External: The Company's virtual guarding channel partner; drone, robotics and autonomous-maritime OEMs and integrators; Cayman law-enforcement and public-safety agencies; the Civil Aviation Authority and maritime regulators; and contract guarding clients.
Key Responsibilities
Virtual Guarding: Commercial Growth & Delivery
• Position Virtual Guarding as a value-added security enhancement alongside contract guarding, not a manpower reduction.
• Grow recurring revenue by incorporating Virtual Guarding into new proposals and existing client accounts.
• Manage the Company's virtual guarding channel partnership, including service quality, commercial terms and go-to-market.
• Own the Virtual Guarding commercial pipeline in partnership with Sales & Marketing.
• Personally manage key accounts during the launch phase, ensuring high-touch service and rapid resolution of early issues.
• Strengthen the competitiveness and defensibility of the wider contract guarding portfolio through the layered guarding proposition.
Drones, Robotics & Autonomous Maritime
• Develop drone, ground robotics and autonomous-maritime solutions as force multipliers for Cayman law enforcement, customs, coast-guard and other public-safety agencies.
• Build relationships with OEMs, integrators and technology providers.
• Manage regulatory compliance, including Civil Aviation Authority drone operating authorisations and maritime authorisations as applicable.
• Support government tenders and proposals, and ensure deployments meet safety, operational and reputational standards from day one.
Operational Excellence
• Ensure SLA compliance, first-time-right service delivery, quality incident response and a consistent customer experience.
• Set the sub-division's operational cadence (daily, weekly and monthly reviews).
• Report performance and pipeline to the Director, Security Services and the Executive as required.
Research, Development & Technical Support
• Act as the Company's technology scout, evaluating emerging tools, platforms and vendors relevant to any service line.
• Lead structured evaluations of new service opportunities with divisional leads, covering business case, technical feasibility and commercial return.
• Maintain the Company-wide R&D roadmap, reviewed regularly with the Executive.
• Provide technical support and second-line problem-solving across divisions.
• Support tenders, complex client requirements and cross-divisional projects.
• Represent the Company at relevant technology and security industry events.
Key Experience & Qualifications
• Substantial multi-year experience in technology-enabled security services, including technical, commercial and operational roles.
• Strong hands-on technical background in security systems, installations, monitoring platforms or related technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to launch or scale a new service line in a commercial environment, or clear potential to do so with appropriate support.
• Experience managing technology partners, vendors, channel or white-label arrangements.
• Proven client-facing and commercial delivery experience.
• Familiarity with the Cayman Islands security market and relationships with local law-enforcement or public-safety agencies are strong advantages.

• Launch Virtual Guarding across our contract guarding clients.

• Set up the Company's Research & Development roadmap.
• Become the go-to technical expert across divisions.
