Senior Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. This role supervises housekeeping colleagues, manages staffing, training, scheduling, room inspections, quality assurance programs, inventory control, and departmental compliance. The position works closely with Front Office, Engineering, Sales, and other departments to maintain service standards, resolve guest concerns, oversee deep-cleaning programs, monitor room status updates, manage cleaning supplies and equipment, and support continuous operational improvements while ensuring health, safety, and regulatory requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and coordinate all daily housekeeping operations to maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
• Supervise, coach, and support housekeeping team members to ensure high performance and service excellence.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of housekeeping colleagues.
• Manage staff schedules, room assignments, attendance, and staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and enforce housekeeping quality assurance programs and service standards.
• Monitor and update room status information to support efficient hotel operations and guest readiness
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Manage housekeeping inventories, supplies, linens, uniforms, and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels and cost control.
• Support departmental budgeting initiatives and monitor expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Oversee deep-cleaning projects, preventive maintenance activities, and special housekeeping programs.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, team performance, and overall guest satisfaction.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:
• Minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, training, and team development experience.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, sanitation standards, laundry operations, and inventory management.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, productivity monitoring, and workforce planning.
• Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, HotSOS, and related hotel systems.
• Experience managing inventories, budgets, purchasing, and cost controls.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
Salary: US $13 to $15 per hour + a share in the gratuity pool
Estimated Earnings – US $48,000 – $68,000 per annum
