Security & Fire Alarm Technician.

Global Security is seeking an Electronic Security Technician with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of electronic security systems throughout the Cayman Islands.

Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Must be a team player, problem solver and can work with little to no supervision.

Strong work ethics and taking pride in your workmanship is very important for this role. The candidate must possess both, be able to adapt to the company’s high standards and understand manufacture installation and serving guidelines for security systems.

Knowledge and experience with the following systems are mandatory:

• Intruder Alarm System (DMP Preferred)
• Fire Alarm System
• CCTV System
• Access Control System
• Electronic Gate and Barriers
• Perimeter Intrusion Detection System
• Unified Security Platform (Genetec Preferred)
• Cloud Base Access Control

Certification in the electronic security industry is mandatory.

Working hours will be 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, on call, and be flexible to work outside of normal hours, Saturday and Sunday to meet customer business needs.

Salary & benefits will be CI$3,500 per month, pension & health insurance as per Cayman Islands labor law, company vehicle and cell phone.

The successful candidate must hold a clean police record, a valid driver’s license and be physically capable of climbing ladders, working in ceiling spaces, and lifting tools and equipment.
