Mason's Helper.

The successful applicant will be required to assist masons with general construction duties, including but not limited to preparing and maintaining the work site. Duties will include mixing construction materials such as cement, sand, stones, mortar, and other materials; preparing and mixing sheetrock mud; assisting with plastering; and preparing surfaces for masonry and finishing work.

The successful applicant will assist with loading, unloading, carrying, moving, and positioning construction materials, including bricks, blocks, stone, cement, and other materials required by the mason. The applicant will also assist with measuring, marking, preparing, and cleaning work surfaces and will provide materials, tools, and equipment to masons as required.

The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing, handling, and properly storing materials, tools, and equipment. Duties will also include cleaning tools and equipment, removing debris and waste materials, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and assisting with the setup and removal of tools, equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.

The successful applicant will follow all applicable health and safety procedures and will perform any other duties assigned by the mason or contractor that are necessary for the safe, orderly, and efficient operation of the construction site.
