Prado Construction is seeking one (1) experienced and versatile construction professional to fill the position of Mason / Carpenter / Painter / Tiler.
The successful candidate must be highly skilled in multiple construction trades and capable of carrying out work independently and professionally while maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity, and safety.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Perform professional masonry work, including laying blocks, bricks and other masonry materials accurately and to specification.
• Mix, prepare and apply mortar, concrete, cement, grout and related construction materials using appropriate ratios and methods.
• Construct, repair, level and finish walls, columns, foundations, walkways and other masonry structures.
• Read measurements, establish levels, lines and layouts, and complete work according to drawings, instructions and required dimensions.
• Perform carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, installing and repairing wooden structures, framing, doors, trims, cabinets, formwork and related components.
• Safely and accurately operate hand tools and power tools required for carpentry and general construction.
• Construct and dismantle concrete formwork and ensure forms are properly aligned, supported and secured.
• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for professional painting, including scraping, sanding, patching, filling cracks, caulking, priming and cleaning.
• Apply paint, primers, sealers and other coatings using brushes, rollers and appropriate equipment while producing clean, consistent finishes.
• Match and prepare materials as required and protect surrounding surfaces from damage, stains and overspray.
• Perform professional tiling work, including preparing and leveling substrates, measuring and laying out tile patterns, cutting tiles, applying adhesives, setting tiles, grouting and sealing.
• Install ceramic, porcelain and other approved tile materials on floors, walls and other surfaces while maintaining proper spacing, alignment, levels and finished appearance.
• Identify defects, uneven surfaces, incorrect measurements and other workmanship issues and make necessary corrections.
• Calculate and measure materials required for assigned work and minimize unnecessary material waste.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required specifications and professional construction standards.
• Safely erect, use and work from ladders, scaffolding and other approved access equipment when required.
• Load, unload, move and properly store construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as required throughout the workday.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean and serviceable condition.
• Keep work areas organized and clean and properly dispose of construction debris.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet assigned schedules and deadlines without compromising workmanship or safety.
• Perform repairs, finishing work and other skilled construction duties within the Mason/Carpenter/Painter/Tiler role as assigned.

Requirements:

Applicants must have proven practical experience as a Mason, Carpenter, Painter and Tiler and demonstrate competence across these trades. Candidates must possess strong measuring, cutting, leveling, finishing and problem-solving skills and be capable of producing professional-quality work with limited supervision.

Applicants must be physically capable of performing demanding construction duties, including prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, safe working practices and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Working Hours:

Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
