NCI Freight & Logistics Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator to coordinate client shipments through our Miami shipping hub to Grand Cayman. The successful candidate will manage each shipment from the time a client purchases an item through cargo arrival in Grand Cayman, working closely with clients, our Miami agents and the Cayman operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain purchase details, invoices and shipping information from clients.
Coordinate with agents at our Miami hub on cargo receiving, consolidation and shipment preparation.
Track shipments from purchase through arrival in Grand Cayman, providing clients with timely updates.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers by email, over the phone and in person.
Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate customs clearance and resolve missing documents, shipment discrepancies and delays.
Maintain accurate client and shipment records in ACSA.
Assist with billing, reconciliation and operational reports.
Coordinate with the Cayman operations team on cargo arrival and delivery preparation.
Participate in outdoor container inspections when required, including work in heat and direct sunlight.
Attend air shipment inspections at Customs Headquarters when required.
Must-Have Requirements
A minimum of three consecutive years of experience in freight logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain coordination.
Hands-on experience with cargo consolidation, shipping documentation and Cayman Islands customs procedures.
Excellent customer communication skills by email, over the phone and in person, including the ability to explain shipment updates and resolve concerns professionally.
Experience coordinating with shipping agents, carriers and freight partners.
Working knowledge of customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, reporting and reconciliation.
Ability to use NCI’s ACSA freight management system.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive shipments in a busy environment.
Ability to attend container and air shipment inspections, including outdoor inspections in hot and sunny conditions.
Clean police record.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies or a related field.
Experience coordinating air, ocean and land freight.
Experience with shipment pricing, cost analysis or client billing.
Work Hours and Salary
Location: On-site, Grand Cayman
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday. Saturday work is required; occasional extended hours may be necessary.
Salary: KYD $1,706.25–$2,999 per month.
