Duties:
●Provide accurate information (eg. product description, product use, product availability, pricing and Inform customers about discounts and special offers
●Cross-sell products and meet or exceed sales targets
●Monitor sales trends and drive company sales by continually identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships
●Contact potential customers and make sales pitches
●Dealing with customer queries and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty
●Optimize sales through prompt and excellent customer service.
●Act as a senior point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
●Assigning task , scheduling, give professional direction, training and support junior staff when required.
●Monitor product display, presentation, and overall organization of the sales floor
●Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth workflow
●Support implementation of standard operating procedures
●Process of cash and card payments, returns/refunds and balancing cash registers with receipts
●Manage product quality , presentation, stock inventory and submit monthly inventory
●Research new manufactures overseas for Indian Food Products and coordination with existing vendors from India and other countries.
●Assist in negotiating terms to ensure cost efficiency and supply consistency
●Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items, recommending alternatives
●Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications & price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
●Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
Report issues, feedback, performance updates and address operational challenges quickly and efficiently to the management.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 year retail/wholesale experience
Indian/Asian Product/Food Knowledge
Good English/Indian language communication
Flexible with shifts(shifts anywhere between 6am to 12 midnight) & any locations
