Jobsite helper.

Compass Marine Ltd. is looking for a Jobsite Helper to assist with general labor, site preparation, material handling, cleaning, and maintenance activities at marine job sites to support the efficient completion of daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day jobs at the workplace, willing to work with fiberglass, paint and other hazardous materials, PPE with be provided.
Assist skilled workers, technicians, and contractors with general marine work.
Load, unload, carry, and organize tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
Prepare job sites by clearing debris, moving materials, and setting up work areas.
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of marine equipment, vessels, docks, and related structures as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, workshops, vessels, and storage areas.
Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision.
Assist with the handling, securing, and transportation of materials and equipment.
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Observe workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform routine maintenance and other general duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs, this is an out working environment.
Driver's license is a bonus; clean police record will be required.
Previous experience in general labor, construction, marine work, or a similar role is an asset.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction or marine equipment is an advantage.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and cooperate with a team.
Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Clean Police record.
