Janitor.

Sandy's Janitorial Services is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Janitor / General Cleaner to perform a variety of indoor and outdoor cleaning, sanitation, and general property maintenance duties.

The successful candidate must be physically fit, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and willing to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities
o Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors in kitchens, restrooms, offices, hallways, and other designated areas.
o Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchens, including countertops, sinks, stoves, appliances, cupboards, and other surfaces.
o Remove grease, food residue, stains, and dirt from kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and work areas.
o Clean, scrub, disinfect, and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, restroom floors, and fixtures.
o Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other essential items.
o Sweep, rake, and maintain yards, driveways, walkways, patios, parking lots, and surrounding outdoor areas.
o Gather, pile, bag, and properly dispose of leaves, branches, litter, garbage, and other yard debris.
o Operate pressure-washing equipment to clean driveways, sidewalks, patios, walls, fences, and other exterior surfaces.
o Remove dirt, grime, mildew, algae, grease, and stains from outdoor surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods.
o Wash and clean interior and exterior windows, glass doors, window frames, and window sills.
o Empty, clean, sanitize, and re-line garbage bins and properly dispose of waste from designated areas.
o Clean and maintain building entrances, stairways, corridors, storage rooms, garbage disposal areas, and common spaces.
o Perform general deep-cleaning duties, including dusting, wiping, scrubbing, disinfecting, and removing stubborn stains.
o Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including pressure washers, vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools, while following proper chemical-handling and safety procedures.
o Perform other general cleaning, outdoor maintenance, garbage removal, and janitorial duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be physically fit and capable of performing demanding indoor and outdoor cleaning duties.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
-Ability to lift and carry approximately 35–50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot weather and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to operate pressure-washing equipment and handle cleaning tools safely.

Hours of Work:

8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Applicants must be flexible and willing to perform additional cleaning duties as required.
