IT Technician.

IT TECHNICIAN

Caribbean Network Solutions Ltd (CNS) is currently accepting applications for an IT Technician.

General minimum requirements for this position are:

- 10 years of experience in a customer facing IT consultative/support role; LAN/WAN design; network security, Microsoft server & desktop solutions, hardware building and diagnosis, Avaya, VoIP, virtualization, Veeam, wireless, mimecast, RMM and PSA software, knowledge of structured cabling, formal certs and training required. Excellent presentation and written/oral communication, document preparation skills required. SoftW development and web development skills and post-secondary education an asset.
- A clean driving record and full driving license, a clean police background check.

Technical minimum requirements for this position are:

- 5 years of Telephony and VoIP experience, specifically with Avaya and One-X. Including build, support, and design. Mitel/ShoreTel equivalent experience accepted as well
- 5 years of Fortigate/Sonicwall experience, including design, management, and support.
- 5 years of Virtualization experience, specifically with VMware. Including design, build, deployment, and management.
- 5 years of Azure experience, specifically with Entra and Intune. Strong Intune knowledge required, including autopilot and conditional access.
- 5 years of Microsoft 365 experience, with a strong emphasis on SharePoint, Teams and Exchange design, deployment and administration.
- 5 years of Microsoft Server technology experience, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, SQL and clustering.
- 5 years of Endpoint Management, including scripting, automation, patching, management and administration.

CNS technicians are representatives of the company. We require mature individuals with a high level of professionalism who enjoy working and dealing with people. The ability to multitask, to work independently, and to work well under pressure in a team environment is essential. Requires out of hours work and your own transportation.

An IT test on the above will be required to be taken at our office to confirm knowledge level.

Salary range is $17 - $ 27/hr. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
