We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machine Operator with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience to operate and maintain heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, dump trucks, and excavators.
Key Duties:
* Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
* Transport construction materials between sites
* Load, unload, and verify material quantities against delivery notes
* Carry out excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation works
* Perform daily equipment inspections, general maintenance, and routine servicing
* Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, traffic laws, and site safety requirements
* Report mechanical issues and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a heavy machine operator
* Valid Cayman Islands Level 4 Driver’s Licence
* Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic management
* Ability to carry out daily maintenance and equipment checks
* Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
