HEAVY EQUIPMENT/DIESEL MECHANIC.

• Service, repair and rebuild heavy equipment, and other mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment and components to ensure proper and safe operation
• Communicate equipment issues with customers and supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction
• Prioritize job assignments and troubleshoot equipment problems including but not limited to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance on a regular basis
• Possess a working knowledge of individual equipment and safety requirements
• Own and possess ability to safely and effectively use mechanic tools
• Have the knowledge of repairing and replacing vehicle tires
• Possess good customer/interpersonal relation skills, an outgoing personality, as well as good verbal communication skills
• Flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work overtime or be on call when necessary or assigned and able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays or on short notice due to business demands
• Be able to operate various types of heavy equipment and Heavy Truck including but not limited to tractor, forklift, telehandler, boom lift, box truck, tractor head with trailor and other equipment/vehicle in company fleet
• Must possess forklift certification or be willing to acquire within 4 weeks of employment
• Possess and maintain a clean Police Record
• Possess and maintain a valid Group 4 Driver’s License
• Have at least 2 years licensed driving experience
• Able to communicate excellent in English both written and verbally
