HAIRSTYLIST.

SALON F.A.B LTD T/A SALON F.A.B is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Hairstylist to join our salon team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of professional hairdressing and styling services while maintaining high standards of customer service, hygiene, and salon presentation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Consult with clients to determine their hairstyling needs, preferences, and desired results.

Shampoo, condition, cut, trim, shape, and style hair using professional techniques.

Perform hair coloring, highlighting, lowlighting, bleaching, toning, and other chemical treatments.

Provide blow-drying, curling, straightening, setting, and finishing services.

Perform hair treatments designed to improve the condition, appearance, and manageability of clients' hair.

Recommend suitable hair care products and treatments based on clients' hair type and individual needs.

Advise clients on appropriate hairstyles, colors, treatments, and at-home hair care routines.

Stay informed about current hairstyles, hair care products, techniques, and industry trends.

Provide professional services for special occasions, including styling for weddings, parties, and other events.

Maintain accurate client service records, including previous treatments, formulas, and client preferences.

Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently and professionally.

Maintain excellent customer service and build positive, long-term relationships with clients.

Handle client questions and concerns professionally and provide appropriate recommendations.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, equipment, and salon areas in accordance with applicable health and safety standards.

Properly sanitize and disinfect combs, brushes, scissors, clippers, styling tools, and other equipment after use.

Follow safe practices when handling hair dyes, bleach, relaxers, keratin treatments, and other chemical products.

Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of hair care and salon products and inform management when stock needs replenishing.

Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, professional, and welcoming salon environment.

Operate hairdressing equipment safely and correctly.

Minimize product waste while maintaining high-quality services.

Comply with salon policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and professional standards.

Perform other reasonable duties related to the position as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate, diploma, or other recognized qualification in Hairstyling, Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or a related field is required.

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Hairstylist/Hairdresser is required.

Demonstrated experience in cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, bleaching, and chemical hair treatments.

Strong knowledge of professional hair care products, tools, equipment, and techniques.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment while maintaining high-quality service.

Knowledge of salon hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety practices.
