Grand Cayman Property Services on behalf of Coral Bay Village Strata seeks a gardener for the maintenance of landscaped grounds, garbage and trash pickup and other tasks to maintain a safe and attractive environment.

Main duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
• Examine the property grounds on a routine basis
• Maintenance of ornamental landscaping including trees, shrubs, ground cover including weeding, chemical applications to address disease and pest control, trimming, pruning, and shaping of shrubs to always maintain high quality presentations
• Maintain the grounds in a sustainable manner
• Assist with other property maintenance activities including but not limited to, removal and disposal of trash and debris, raking of leaves and grass, maintaining parking lots
• Assisting with the maintenance of the irrigation system and sprinklers
• Sound knowledge of domestic vegetation
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with all regulations regarding equipment and supplies to minimize personal and physical damage

Requirements, Qualifications, Abilities & Experience include the following:
• Minimum 5 years related work experience in landscaping
• Must have experience in any or all the following:
o all aspects of chemical application
o plant identification
o bedding plant installation/maintenance
o irrigation controls
o local horticultural practices
o best practices of landscape maintenance and sustainability
• Experience in the maintenance of trees and ornamental shrubs, including proper pruning and fertilization preferred.
