We are seeking a deckhand to assist the boat captain with the safe operation of tour activities. This includes but is not limited to conducting safety briefings, assisting guests with life vests and snorkeling gear, assisting guests during interactions in the water and generally ensuring the safety of all guests on-board. Candidate must be able to swim comfortably and interact with Stingrays, must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking to and engaging with large groups of people. Must be friendly, patient and professional especially when assisting both elderly guests and children. Deckhand will also be responsible for the maintenance of all vessels and equipment including inspection and cleaning before and after a tour. Candidate should have a strong commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.
