Key Duties and Responsibilities
Construction and Framing: Building and erecting structural frameworks, including floor joists, roof rafters, stud walls, and partition walls.
Installation and Finishing: Installing doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, flooring, skirting boards, and trim work.
Reading Technical Drawings: Interpreting blueprints and building plans to determine specifications and materials.
Material Selection & Preparation: Choosing, measuring, shaping, and cutting wood, plywood, and other materials, including drywall.
