The Carpenter position includes, but is not limited to:
- Experience installing millwork
- Construction of formwork
- Vertical shoring and scaffolding for buildings
- Ability to use many hand and power tools to cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. Commonly used hand tools are squares, levels, and chisels, and power tools are sanders, circular saws, and nail guns
- Experience using materials effectively to reduce waste
The position requires the following qualifications and competencies:
- More than five years of experience in the construction field
- Primary school or work-related experience in the construction of buildings
