Carpenter Helper.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist carpenters with construction, installation, and repair work.
• Gather, carry, and prepare construction materials and supplies.
• Measure, cut, and position materials as directed.
• Operate hand tools and small construction equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Assist with reading and interpreting basic blueprints and construction plans.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction or carpentry work.
• Knowledge of construction tools, materials, fasteners, and safety equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic architectural plans/blueprints.
• Must pass a basic carpentry skills test.
• High School Diploma and/or Trade School qualification preferred.
• Completion of general safety training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Strong physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and ability to perform manual labour.
• Ability to communicate and understand English.
• Must work well with others and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
