Is Hiring a CARPENTER / DRYWALL INSTALLER & FINISHER
Responsibilities:
Follow blueprints and building plans accurately.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Construct building frameworks, including roofs, walls, floors, and door frames.
Assist in erecting, leveling, and installing the building framework using rigging hardware and cranes.
Inspect and replace damaged frameworks, other structures, and fixtures.
Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall panels according to blueprints and design plans
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of buildings
Prepare panels for painting by taping and finishing joints and imperfections
Mix sealing compounds by hand or with portable electric mixers
Spread and smooth cementing material over tape, using trowels or floating machines to blend joints with wall surfaces
Sand and patch nicks and cracks in walls and ceilings to create a seamless, professional finish
Apply texturing compounds and primers to walls and ceilings before final finishing
