Building Construction Labourer/Handyman.

• Will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Duties will include removing construction debris and waste from the work areas and transporting it to the designated disposal area on a daily basis.
• Assisting tradesmen and other construction workers with moving and handling materials around the job site.
• Loading, unloading, organizing, and storing construction materials and equipment.
• Securing tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work shift.
• Assisting with the setup and preparation of work areas.
• Helping tradesmen with general tasks as directed by the site supervisor or foreman.
• Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs around the job site.
• Assisting with the installation and removal of temporary structures, barriers, signs, and protective coverings.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Assisting with measuring, cutting, and preparing basic materials under the direction of skilled tradesmen.
• Helping with general carpentry, masonry, painting, and other construction-related tasks as required.
• Maintaining clear walkways and ensuring work areas are free from hazards.
• Following all company health and safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Reporting damaged tools, unsafe conditions, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are placed in their designated locations.
• Performing other general construction and handyman duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Will work under the supervision of the Site Supervisor/Foreman and will provide general support to the construction team to ensure that the job site remains safe, clean, organized, and efficient.
